4hr Fishing Trip
Trolling for trout and kokanee
- Families who want to enjoy fishing together
- Anglers looking to bring home fresh trout for dinner
- Mixed groups where some may prefer to fish while others relax
Eleven Mile Reservoir, or 11 Mile to most people who fish it, sits at 8,600 feet in Colorado's South Park, and it holds some of the best trout water in the state. Clear water, sweeping mountain views, and a fishery that keeps producing from ice-out in spring through to hard water in December.
From the deck of a comfortable pontoon boat, guests can troll for Rainbow, Cutbow, and Brown Trout, or Kokanee Salmon, or simply sit back, relax, and take in the beauty of South Park. Whether your goal is landing fish or enjoying the ride, this trip captures the very best of Colorado’s outdoors.

Once the ice comes in, Leslie Branin guides ice fishing on Eleven Mile Reservoir, with heated tents, all the gear provided, and trout, kokanee salmon and northern pike from mid-December through mid-March.
Beginners are welcome, and it is an easy drive from Summit County.
Jeff has called Eleven Mile Reservoir home for years. From his 80-acre ranch on the south shore, Jeff has perfected the art of trolling for trout in every season.
Known for his patience and passion, Jeff loves introducing newcomers to his home water and helping experienced anglers fine-tune their skills. Using refined techniques with sinking lines and downriggers, Jeff regularly finds success when other boats come up empty.
Guests will fish from Jeff’s comfortable, well-equipped pontoon boat, ensuring both safety and fun on the water.
Your trip takes place aboard a spacious 2022 Bass Buggy DLX Sun Tracker pontoon boat, designed for both comfort and performance on the water. With plenty of room to move around, it’s the perfect setup for small groups and families.
A built-in sun shade keeps you comfortable while you relax or wait for the next bite, while three live wells provide plenty of space to keep your catch fresh throughout the trip.
For fishing, the boat is outfitted with an electric Canon downrigger and a Garmin Force trolling motor, delivering smooth, quiet movement that doesn’t spook fish. To stay on top of the action, a Garmin Echomap with Panoptix LiveView sonar system lets your guide locate trout efficiently, giving you the best chance to hook into Rainbow, Cutbow, Brown Trout, or Kokanee Salmon.
More than just a ride, this boat is a fully equipped platform for an unforgettable day on Eleven Mile Reservoir.
